Yesterday’s video featured a simplified pupilloplasty technique using the 4-throw method from Dr Amar Agarwal which really makes it easy. Today we feature a video where our guest surgeon does a great job with a cerclage suture which is also known as a purse string technique. This is more challenging since it requires many more passes of the suture through the iris tissue. In this case there is even a challenge at the end where the suture gets caught in the cornea. Fortunately, our guest surgeon resolves that issue carefully and produces a great result for the patient. So many great pearls to learn in this video.
