This is a tough case of a dense cataract in a patient with an iris and lens coloboma. This means absent zonular support for a large area of the capsular bag and a high likelihood of vitreous prolapse. Our guest surgeon does a great job with this tough case by using the MSICS technique and placing a capsular tension ring.
