1784: PodCast 6: David F. Chang MD

David F. Chang MD has been passionate about phacoemulsification cataract surgery ever since he was a medical student. He happened to see a video of Charles Kelman MD performing phaco and he was hooked. He has since gone on to become a true leader in ophthalmology with so many innovations and discoveries that improve the way that we all operate. He described IFIS: intra-operative floppy iris syndrome, studied endophthalmitis risk, compared MSICS to phaco, leads the way to reduce medical waste in ophthalmology, and so much more. I have personally known Dr Chang for 20 years and I learned so many new and interesting aspects about his life, philosophies, and his drive. I am confident that you will absolutely enjoy this podcast and learn so much.

We are planning on hosting two podcast interviews per month, on the second and fourth Sundays, and we will have them uploaded to all major podcast services (click links here: AppleGoogleSpotify) for enjoying as you drive to work or exercise. I am really excited to share these amazing podcasts with you. The full video of the podcast will also be here on CataractCoach as well as on our YouTube channel.
