Yesterday we featured a case of cataract surgery in a patient with a coloboma. And today we have another similar case, however this one is made more complicated when the posterior capsule ruptures during surgery. So now how would you secure the IOL, remembering that there is an area of absent zonular support inferiorly due to the coloboma? And would you suture the iris and perform a pupilloplasty in this case?
