1658: IOL calc case study 10: amblyopia

We often have patients with a history of amblyopia who are now presenting for cataract surgery. The cause of the amblyopia is commonly anisometropia or strabismus related and we need to decide about the right choice for refractive targets and IOL selection. Also which eye should be done first? Can you do monovision? This video goes through many of the common issues with these patients and I give you my best pearls for success. (And don’t worry, I have checked the dog’s eyes in detail and he does not have amblyopia.)
