1648: cystotome needle decompression

This resident surgeon does a great job on this white cataract case where he performs needle decompression of the intumescent white cataract using the cystotome (alternate spelling cystitome) prior to the capsulorhexis (alternate spelling capsulorrhexis). This works well to decompress the capsular bag to reduce the risk of capsular run-out (Argentinian flag sign). A key point is the rock the nucleus so that any liquefied lens material that is behind the nucleus can come around the lens equator and also be aspirated.
