This patient is so extremely myopic that the IOL power is -2.0 diopters (minus power) in order to leave the patient with a post-op refraction of mild myopia. Contrast this to a typical patient who gets about a 20 diopter IOL and you know that this patient is an ultra-myope where his pre-operative refraction was -24.0 in his glasses. This video is a complete cataract case and that includes me loading the IOL into the injector. The video discusses IOL calculations, IOL selection, the IOL loading, and the surgical technique. So many great pearls!
