1506: Phaco + GATT for glaucoma

GATT is gonioscopic-assisted transluminal trabecuolomy which can be performed at the same time as cataract surgery for glaucoma treatment. We know that just doing the cataract surgery can help lower the intra-ocular pressure in glaucoma patients (in fact, in all patients) and open the angle wider since we are replacing a 4+ mm thick human crystalline lens with a man-made IOL that is 1 mm or thinner. This surgery involves placing a micro-catheter via an ab interno approach and the unroofing for a full 360 degrees.
