1488: Fuchs Dystrophy with EDOF IOL

In the past, I was reluctant to implant an EDOF (extended depth of focus) IOL in patients with corneal issues. That was until I discussed this issue with multiple colleagues who reported success using these IOLs in challenging corneal cases. I cautiously began to expand my horizons and started implanting the EDOF IOLs in select cases. In this video I explain how I determined that this patient with Fuchs Dystrophy was a reasonable candidate for an EDOF IOL. Like you, I am continuously learning and striving to give patients my best.
