In this video I am showing the microscope view of the cataract surgery that was performed in video 1335. If you look carefully at this picture, you can see the small monitor on the microscope is showing the same synchronized video as the picture-in-picture surgical footage. What is remarkable about this case is how the entire team works together to create an excellent outcome for the patient. Note that I rarely have to look up from the microscope oculars and that the scrub tech anticipates my every move. I don’t even need to speak because she is able to watch the surgery live on the monitor to prepare for the next step. I am so thankful to have such great team members.
