1290: uveitic cataract with synechiae

Our guest surgeon presents a patient with a long standing history of uveitis who has developed an opaque cataract. In addition, there is an extensive degree of synechiae which prevent pupil dilation and have also formed a membrane blocking the pupil. This video shows his technique of overcoming these obstacles and performing a good cataract surgery with a beautiful outcome.
