1145: white cataract anterior capsule tear

This patient has a dense white cataract and it is also intumescent in nature. There is sufficient pressure within the capsular bag that the capsulorhexis immediately runs out to the lens equator. This poses a challenge for the rest of the surgery because this weak point can allow the tear to extend to the posterior capsule.
