This week we are doing complete cataract cases where we will show an entire surgery from start to finish and these are all cases performed by me. This patient had a prior pars plana vitrectomy for macular disease and now has developed a primarily nuclear cataract. This video will show you the technique of phaco chop and will also explain the challenges, including IOL calculations which should be adjusted for these eyes.
