Complicated Radial Keratotomy Case

This is a tough case where the patient had prior 16-cut radial keratotomy for treatment of a high degree of myopia. The patient also had prior glaucoma surgery which further complicates the surgery. Our guest surgeon Maneesh Bapaye MD from Nashik, India does a good job in this surgery, including dealing with vitreous prolapse. The incision in this case is made in the cornea, however my advice is to use a scleral tunnel if there are more than 8 radial keratotomy incisions.

The case ends well and post-operatively the patient has a good result.
