Should you do surgery for this patient?

This is a complex patient who has many systemic medical issues and because her lab tests from this morning showed a blood glucose of 411 and a potassium level of 5.3, the anesthesiologist does not want to give her sedation. That is understandable, but this is the third time that the patient has attempted to schedule her cataract surgery. Each time being cancelled due to results of lab tests. She is now 20/200 in both eyes with pretty good visual potential. What do you do?
