We all learn from each other and today’s video is a great example of that. We are learning from Dr. Neto Rosatelli from Brazil and he is showing us the submarine chop for a dense nuclear cataract which he learned from Dr Mohanta from India. The idea behind this technique is to bury the phaco tip deep within the central nucleus while performing horizontal chop. This weakens the dense central nucleus and facilitates the chop.
