Controlled IOL delivery during Cataract Surgery

In the past few days we have shown cases where the IOL delivery was less than ideal. This resulted in cases where damage to the optic occurred and the delivery was uncontrolled. Ideally, we want the IOL to be delivered slowly and safely directly into the capsular bag with a high degree of control.

This video shows a controlled delivery of an acrylic IOL and it is shown in real-time to emphasize the slow and deliberate process. Skip to the 2:00 mark to see just the IOL being delivered.
