
In this case, after inserting the toric EDOF IOL, I noticed a huge problem here. If you look closely at the photo (right at the tip of the yellow arrow), you may be able to notice it as well. Look carfully! And here I thought that this was a relatively routine case other than the patient taking tamsulosin (Flomax) and having 8 prior radial keratotomy cuts. I was truly surprised when I realized what was going on and I’m so happy that I caught it and resolved the issue. The patient had a beautiful surgical outcome and achieved great vision.
