2095: irido-zonulo-hyaloido-vitrectomy

This patient has malignant glaucoma and to treat that the procedure is IZHV: irido-zonulo-hyaloido-vitrectomy. Here is what our guest surgeon gave as the history: Young patient, high hyperope, came in with primary angle closure and got LPIs with a plan to have lensectomy afterward. First phaco was uneventful, needed a 32 D lens. But then one week postop there was pain, blurry vision, and an extremely shallow AC despite a patent PI. So we had to go back to the OR to do the IZHV. Then for the second eye we did the IZHV at the same time as the phaco.
