1817: My Week: How do I get the nucleus up?

Many readers have asked for pearls in getting the nucleus up, part way out of the capsular bag, and in the iris plane so that the pupil holds the cataract. This allows easier access to remove the nucleus and also keeps the iris away from the phaco tip. This video shows how I use the 27g cannula to rock the nucleus and bring it up. A great surgical pearl that you should learn.
