Benchmark: Senior Resident Chop

This is a good benchmark for what a senior resident should be able to achieve by the end of residency training. This is a routine cataract surgery, performed by a senior resident, and we take double camera angles to show you both the microscope view and the external view. This is helpful for learning about hand-positioning during the surgery. All residents really must watch this video, which is shown uncut, in its entirety. It is well worth the 15 minute investment to give yourself a goal of what you must be able to achieve. If you are behind this level of performance and you are a senior resident, then you must work harder and do better.
