In this anonymously submitted resident video, there is a break in the posterior capsule during cataract surgery. With the assistance of the attending ophthalmologist, the resident is able to recover from the case by doing an anterior vitrectomy and placing a sulcus IOL. The challenge is to determine when it broke. Then we can learn to prevent this complication. What do you think?
