Today we have a video of a novice surgeon operating together with an experienced surgeon. The key maneuver in this case is how the nucleus is pre-chopped, using just a 27 gauge blunt cannula with the chopper instrument, so that the novice surgeon simply has to phaco-aspirate these pieces using the phaco probe. There is no need for the novice surgeon to worry about nucleo-fractis techniques since the nucleus is already disassembled.
